How to play

Badminton: Shuttle Tour is a 3D badminton game that runs right in your browser. You control the player closest to the camera and play a game against the CPU or against a friend via link. Getting to the shuttle and hitting it at the right moment is what wins the point.

Timing: the perfect hit

Every shot is a quick swing of the racket, and there is an ideal moment of contact. The game rates each hit:

Shuttles hit high travel flatter and faster. Low hits rise more and arrive slowly, which is good for defending.

Aiming

The direction you hold at the moment of the hit picks the target. Sideways sends the shuttle straight or cross-court. Forward drops it short, near the net. Back or no direction sends it deep.

Dive

When you can't get there on foot, dive. While you fly and slide, your outstretched racket hits the shuttle on its own if it comes close, always as a defensive lob to the back middle. The price is half a second on the floor, unable to move. Use it as a last resort.

Jump and smash

Jump and hit in the air to send the shuttle downward. Perfect timing in the air gives you a SMASH!. The jump is low and you have little control in the air, so only jump when the shuttle comes in high.

Serve

Serving uses the same button as hitting. With no direction you get a long serve. Holding forward gives a short, flat serve that lands just past the short service line. Sideways adjusts your aim inside the service box. Whoever wins the rally serves, and the serving side follows the score, just like real badminton.

Play with a friend

In the menu, tap PLAY A FRIEND and send the room link. The match starts when your friend opens the link, on desktop or mobile. Each player gets a random nickname; no account needed.

Match rules

Every rally scores a point (rally point). A match is one game to 11. If it's tied at the end, you need a 2-point lead, up to a cap of 15. A shuttle outside the singles court, into the net or a service fault gives the point to your opponent.
