Badminton: Shuttle Tour · updated on September 29, 2026 (includes the Hall of Fame)

Summary

The game needs no sign-up, uses no cookies and collects no data that identifies you.

What we collect

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to learn, in aggregate, how many visits the game gets and which countries they come from, plus general technical information (browser and device type). This tool uses no cookies, builds no profiles and does not store your IP address. We only see totals and charts, never data about a specific person.

Playing with a friend (online)

When you create or join a room, the game connects to our server so the match can happen. During the match only game commands (movement, hit, jump, dive) and the match state (positions, score) are sent.

Each player gets a randomly generated nickname (for example, "Speedy Shuttle 42"): we never ask for a name, email or any personal data. The server keeps only the room code and a reconnection code, deleted when the room is empty. On your device, that reconnection code lives only in the browser tab, so you can get back into the match if your connection drops.

As with any internet connection, Cloudflare processes your IP address to deliver the data; we do not store that address or link it to your nickname.

Hall of Fame (story mode)

In the Hall of Fame you walk around with other visitors (up to 10 per room). For that, the game sends our server only your character's position and direction, whether it is walking or watching a video, and the gestures you make (wave, clap, 🏸, 🔥). Other visitors see you under a randomly generated nickname; there is no chat. None of this is stored: the room disappears when it is empty. The nickname code is saved in your browser so you come back with the same name.

Hall videos only load when you tap watch. They come from YouTube (Google), in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and follow Google's privacy policy.

Data stored on your device

The game stores in your own browser (local storage, not cookies) the language you picked and your story mode progress. This data never leaves your device and is erased if you clear the site data.

Why we use it

To understand where the game is being played, improve performance on each kind of device and make online matches work.

Sharing

We do not sell or share data with third parties. The game is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes the technical requests needed to deliver it.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the game gains features that use data in other ways (for example, accounts, leaderboards or nickname changes), this page will be updated before that.
